We represent over 850 business and commercial property owners within our boundaries of Gore Avenue, Clark Drive, Railway Street, and Venables Street. Our area is a broad mix of industrial, commercial, retail and residential zoning, with over 200 properties designated as heritage.

Our members are long-term employers, many of whom have been in the area for longer than 25 years, making Strathcona one of the most stable commercial districts in Canada.

Our mandate is to maintain a co-operative effort in revitalizing the area of Strathcona by facilitating a safe and vibrant destination to live, work, set up shop and have fun; done through the initiation of innovative programs and strategies to develop the unique characteristics of the area.Please visit our website for more information on the Strathcona Business Improvement Association.
